Local Rules & Codes
What this is
What the local rules actually say about exterior cleaning in Whatcom and Skagit County, with the code sections cited and linked so you can read them yourself. Jurisdictions ten miles apart do not regulate this the same way.
Most exterior cleaning quotes in this market do not mention the local codes at all, and on a lot of jobs it genuinely does not come up. It comes up on the ones where water runs somewhere it should not, and by then the conversation is with a municipality rather than with a contractor.

These are plain-language summaries with sources, not legal advice. Codes are amended and section numbering changes — every page carries its review date for that reason.
