Cleaned by the owner's own crew
King of Kings is run by its owner, Randy Fee, and every technician who carries the name onto a property was trained by him. That is the whole difference between a local company and a franchise: the person who set the standard is the person you can call.
- Owner-run — every technician trained by Randy personally
- Washington business licence, UBI 605476674 · L&I insured · BBB rated A
- Free quotes, given in person, on site

What we do
How can we help?
Before and after
Same position, same day
Before
AfterWaterfront window, Bow — Before. The streaking is mineral residue left behind as salt spray dries on the pane.
Before
AfterWindow bank, Bow — Before. Salt haze does not rinse off in the rain — it has to be washed off, or it keeps dulling the view.
Before
AfterGlass door and frames, Bow — Before. Webs and debris collect in the frame channels, not only on the glass, which is why frames and tracks are part of the job.
The county does the damage, the schedule should answer it
Exterior cleaning in Whatcom and Skagit County is not the same job it is in a dry climate, and the difference is not marketing. Wet air off the bay, tree cover on three sides of most neighbourhoods, and a long grey season mean organic growth gets a foothold on any surface that stays damp. North-facing walls hold mildew. Roofs grow moss in the shade line. Gutters carry needles rather than leaves, and they carry them for months.
That is the whole argument for cleaning on a local schedule rather than a generic one, and it is the reason this site is organised by surface and by town rather than by a list of services with a phone number underneath.
What we clean
Every service below is one we actually run, with its own page explaining how the work is done and what it costs to get wrong:
- Window cleaning — inside and out, screens and tracks included, with purified water on the exterior glass.
- Gutter cleaning — cleared by hand and flushed, with the downpipes checked rather than assumed.
- Roof cleaning and moss removal — soft washed, never pressure washed.
- House washing — the low-pressure method for siding that will not survive a pressure washer.
- Pressure washing — for the surfaces that do want pressure: driveways, patios, walkways.
- Solar panel cleaning — output falls with film and it is measurable.
- Commercial window cleaning — storefront and multi-storey work on a maintained schedule.
- Metal roof soft washing — a different surface with different chemistry from a composition roof.
Why the surface matters more than the service name
A composition asphalt shingle, a cedar shake, a standing seam metal roof and a vinyl wall all fail in different ways, and all four fail faster under the wrong cleaning method. Pressure on a composition roof takes the granules with it, and those granules are the part doing the work. Cedar needs to dry. Metal has coatings that some chemistry strips. The surface library sets out what each one is and how it should be treated, because the honest answer to “can you clean that” is sometimes “yes, but not the way you have seen it done”.
Wash water, and why we bring our own
Where the water goes is regulated here, and not identically from town to town. Bellingham’s stormwater chapter admits nothing but stormwater to the drain; Ferndale’s code expressly permits detergent-free external wash down. The practical effect is that the same pole rinse is unremarkable in one town and not exempt ten miles away. We carry our own water and filtration, which means we can work at a property with the supply shut off and we are not putting hard well water back onto glass we have just cleaned. The local rules are written up here.
Recognition we did not award ourselves
The Bellingham Herald’s readers voted King of Kings Gold for Best Cleaning Service in Cascades Best in two consecutive years, 2025 and 2026, and Silver for Best Customer Service in 2026. CommunityVotes Bellingham gave the company Platinum for Best Window Cleaning in 2025 and again in 2026, and Gold for Best Cleaning Service in 2026; Nextdoor neighbours voted it a Neighborhood Fave in 2024 and 2025, and the Whatcom Business Alliance made it a finalist for Start-Up Business of the Year in 2024.
Those are dated, attributable and voted on by other people, which is the only kind of “best” worth putting on a website.

Questions we get asked here
- What areas do you cover?
- Whatcom and Skagit County, from Bellingham and Ferndale north to Lynden, Blaine and Sumas, and south through Burlington, Mount Vernon and Anacortes. Bellingham is the home city and the crews are in it most days of the week.
- Do you give quotes over the phone?
- We quote on site rather than over the phone. Exterior work prices on what is actually there — the height, the access, the surface and how long it has been since the last clean — and a number given sight unseen is a number that changes when we arrive. The visit is free.
- Are you licensed and insured?
- King of Kings Window Cleaning LLC holds a Washington State business licence and carries Labor & Industries coverage. Ask to see the details before any work starts and you will get them.
- How often should exterior cleaning be done here?
- Windows twice a year suits most homes in this county, once after winter and once after late-summer fieldwork dust. Roofs and gutters run on their own clock, driven by how much tree cover sits over the property. We will tell you what your house actually needs rather than sell you a schedule.
- Who actually turns up to do the work?
- Randy Fee owns the company and trains every technician personally, so the person on your property was taught the job by the owner. You are dealing with a local company, not a call centre routing work to whoever is nearest.
- Do you pressure wash roofs?
- No. Roofs are soft washed, because pressure strips the granules off composition shingle and drives water under the courses. Pressure belongs on concrete and some siding, and even there it is a judgement about the surface rather than a default setting.
- What happens to the wash water?
- It matters more here than most places, and the rules are not the same in every town — Bellingham's stormwater code and Ferndale's differ on detergent-free wash down. We carry our own water and manage where it goes; the local rules are set out in our compliance notes.
